Maya's story

Maya was found abandoned in a crate beside a dumpster behind a Chinese food restaurant in Virginia.

Cold, sick, and scared, she was brought to a shelter, where she remained for over three months. No one wanted adopt her because she looked different. She was scheduled to be put down.

That's when a local rescue stepped up and saved her life. They got someone to drive her up to Massachusetts and set her up with a foster. We saw her photo on their page and fell in love.
