At some point in our lives, we all struggle with confidence. We all struggle with feeling like we fit in. We get so caught up in the things we're self-conscious about, we forget all the things that make us so awesome.
This easy activity helps kids gain their confidence back.
1. Sit down at a table with a piece of blank paper and something to write with.
2. Ask your child to write down 3 things they like about themselves (or have them narrate while you write them down).
3. Then, list 3 things YOU like about them.
4. Work together to fill up the paper with all the things you both like about your child.
At the end of this quick activity, you'll have a paper filled with wonderful things about your child. You can hang this on your fridge or in their room for your child to reference whenever they're feeling down or need a self-esteem boost.
Sometimes, we just need a little reminder of how incredible we are.
